I currently work as a loan counselor for a mortgage servicing company. Yesterday I had a call from a mortgagor who said she is looking for more work to pay her mortgage and other bills. She is working part time at a hospital in the Los Angeles area. I told her to check out a couple of hospitals but since I couldn’t say the names I thought I would at least describe their locations also that they’re connected with the same company. Immediately the lady said “Oh! Adventist Health. I know of them!”. I advised her that there are some RN positions there she could look into.

Even though I don’t work for Adventist Health anymore and hopefully one day will be able to return, I am still impressed by God to share the news and awesome possibilities of our hospitals.

Great blog Judy. Julie was born either at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital, one of the top birth centers in the D.C. area, or Washington Adventist Hospital, which is better known as one of the best cardiac care centers in the region. The team from Adventist HealthCare has really enjoyed getting to know the other health systems and the response from people stopping by the booth has been great. It’s wonderful to see the four systems working together like this.
